Sorry Liam Spencer, Saving Eric Cements Finn as Steffy’s Top B&B Man

Liam Spencer may have decades of history with Steffy. He might even be the better choice to keep her and her children safe from Sheila. But if/when Finn saves Eric, it will cement him as Steffy’s top man on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Liam Spencer: Man On A Mission

It’s not that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has been wavering at all between her ex and current husband. In fact, she’s made it quite clear to Liam (Scott Clifton) and everyone else that she is madly in love with Finn (Tanner Novlan). But Liam has remained undeterred. Whether it’s cockiness or complete denial, he’s convinced himself he’s actually got a chance with his former wife. He was even so brazen as to go to Steffy’s dad, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), and plead his case regarding his hopes for a reconciliation.

Hero Husband

But what Liam didn’t factor into the equation is the power of good guy Finn and his increasingly growing status as “the hero” in Steffy’s life. Finn’s always been about doing the right thing, protecting his wife and children at any cost. Remember when he stepped in front of Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) gunfire to save Steffy’s life? Now, suddenly, he’s playing savior again, coming up with a miraculous course of action that could bring Eric (John McCook) back from the brink of death.

Absolutely Devoted Wife

Steffy is all about family and is totally devoted to her grandfather, Eric, the patriarch of the mighty Forrester family. She’s been absolutely devastated since learning he was terminally ill, the thought of losing him more than she could bear. So Finn stepping in and finding a way to save Eric’s life will catapult him to the top of Steffy’s hero list and cement him as her number-one man.

What does that mean, Liam? Well, it looks like the guy who’s flip-flopped between Steffy and Hope (Annika Noelle) for years will be out in the cold alone, which is exactly where he belongs.
