This week’s slow-burning storyline goes to Taylor’s heartbreak on The Bold and the Beautiful. Ridge ended their engagement. He finally told her the truth: that he’s still in love with Brooke. So, where does this leave the fallen heroine?
What’s Next For Taylor?
At first, Taylor (Rebecca Budig) begged Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) to take her back. She spiraled because she was in shock. But then, she finally had a moment of clarity.
Taylor realized that Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) was Ridge’s “destiny.” She knew that he would eventually leave her, so she finally made peace with that thought. But that doesn’t mean Taylor is going away quietly.
She’s staying in Los Angeles for her family. After all, her kids, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood—who returned to the set of B&B) and Thomas (Matthew Aktinson), are going to need her.
Looking For a New Love
Now that Bridge has reunited, it’s time for the next chapter in Taylor’s love life to start. She deserves to find her own destiny. Could Deacon be Taylor’s new love interest on B&B?
Deacon’s (Sean Kanan) marriage to Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) once he learns that Luna (Lisa Yamada) is still alive, and she’s been lying to him. Sheila has been desperate to have a relationship with her granddaughter. We could see Deacon and Taylor being overcome with betrayal, leading to a night of passion.
Their heartbreak could draw them closer together. Taylor could also become Bill’s (Don Diamont) new love interest. But Bill is still unraveling now that he’s found out that Liam’s (Scott Clifton) medical treatment was all a lie. There’s also the matter of finding out what Luna did to his son, Will (Crew Morrow).
B&B will return to its roots by having rival fashion houses. Nick (Jack Wagner) could return since he’s working for Marone International. Their reunion could outrage Ridge, who felt the same way when Brooke was in Nick’s orbit. (Will Thomas become Forrester Creations’ new fashion rival on B&B?)
