Brooke’s love life needs a massive overhaul on The Bold and the Beautiful. She’s been convinced that Ridge is her destiny, despite his waffling ways. In her mind, she’s his Logan. No one else can have him. Yet, we think a slow burn is building in her love life. She just doesn’t know it right now.
Meant To Be?
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) will do anything to catch Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) wandering eye. She’s aware that his head will snap back in her direction. So far, she’s done everything from kissing him to stripping down in her lingerie. (At the office, mind you.) She also planned to be the showstopper in the House of Forrester’s fashion show. With Eric’s (John McCook) help, she would walk down the runway in the gown she wore during their destination wedding in Portofino.
Once again, we see that Brooke’s back to her old tricks. She doesn’t care if she ruins Tridge’s relationship for the umpteenth time. All she can think about is getting her destiny back. Brooke is determined to have Ridge in her bed by Christmastime. But she needs to move on and find a better man. She needs someone who’s completely devoted to her. Someone who always held a candle for her…
What’s Next For Brooke?
This brings us to Nick’s (Jack Wagner) return. (But will his son return with him?) Talk about perfect timing. Brooke’s love life needs a shake-up. She needs to realize there are more fish in the sea. Brooke will supposedly struggle to recognize that Ridge doesn’t love her anymore. That’s when Nick will return.
He will bring back a flood of memories and unresolved feelings between them. Unlike Ridge, Nick is stable and supportive, which is what Brooke needs. The two will reconnect, finally offering her a second chance at happiness. A reunion with Nick will also give Brooke the fresh start she needs. She’ll finally move away from Ridge.
Of course, this will be a slow-burning romance. Nick will not be the rebound that makes Brooke forget about Ridge. It’ll be interesting to see how Ridge reacts when he learns she’s finally moved on. Will he dump Taylor (Rebecca Budig) and try to get her back? Hopefully, Brooke will leave him in the dust like he did to her. If anything, Brooke deserves to find love again from a different man.
