Luna is currently in prison for committing multiple crimes in Los Angeles. Steffy claims that she’s one of Luna’s victims. Yet, these two have more in common on The Bold and the Beautiful than they care to admit.

Key Takeaways

  • Steffy returned to Los Angeles and gave Luna a stern warning.
  • While Steffy isn’t as evil as Luna, she’s still done some questionable stuff.
  • She should try to empathize with Luna for the sake of her marriage.

Mean Girls

The moment that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) returned home, she got the word from Finn (Tanner Novlan) that Luna (Lisa Yamada) was still alive but locked out. B&B fans think Steffy and Luna’s prison confrontation should’ve waited.

That powerful scene proved that Steffy and Luna share similarities. Both of them are mean girls who enjoy bullying others. Steffy has bullied Hope (Annika Noelle), while Luna loves to torment Electra (Laneya Grace).

However, the underlying difference is that Steffy is a privileged woman who’s never had to work her way up. Luna had odd jobs and a mom who struggled to support them. But they also love money and rich, powerful men.

Seducing Spencer Men

Prior to Finn, Steffy was attracted to the Spencer men. She fought with Hope over Liam (Scott Clifton), had a relationship with Wyatt (Darin Brooks—who swapped daytime romance for rocks and brooms), and seduced Dollar Bill (Don Diamont). Luna hasn’t been with Liam and doesn’t know who Wyatt is. But she has seduced Bill and his other son, Will (Crew Morrow).

Her obsession with Will caused her to sexually assault him, which resulted in a pregnancy. Now, Luna is confident that Will could break her free from prison. Still, Luna has crossed a line that Steffy never would.

Questionable Crimes

Something else the two share in common is their violent acts. Steffy most recently killed Sugar (Kimberlin Brown), who she thought was Sheila. She stabbed her with a knife in an effort to defend her family.

Meanwhile, Luna’s violent acts were calculated. She resorted to drugging and shooting people when things didn’t go her way. Luna is finally serving time for her crimes, but it might not last for long.

Should Steffy Empathize With Luna?

Luna’s addition to the show could be a commentary on the things that Steffy got away with during her time. Both of them thrive on chaos and drama rather than peace and quiet.

Still, Luna is a completely different person. One who could never be redeemed. She still hasn’t taken accountability for her crimes and lives in a delusional world.

Steffy, on the other hand, has exhibited growth and change. She even agreed to remain civil with Hope when Liam was going through a health crisis.

As for Luna, every evil act seems to breathe new life into her. She will never change or grow, which is why she’s behind bars. With this said, Steffy should try to understand Luna.

But that doesn’t mean she should welcome her with open arms for the sake of her marriage. Finn and Steffy are better off without that little terror in their lives.
