Ridge walked into the office and saw Thomas cornering Brooke. Then, things took a surprising turn on the Tuesday, September 16 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. Will Thomas finally come around to accepting Brooke? Or is he playing them?
Tense Family Drama
It was a dramatic day in Los Angeles. Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) overheard Thomas (Matthew Aktinson) yelling at Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). He’s lucky he didn’t see Thomas put his hands on her because he would’ve punched him out.
Thomas blamed Brooke for breaking up their family, but Ridge finally admitted his mistake. He told his son that he should be blaming him. Because of his waffling ways, he’s the one causing everyone so much pain.
Thomas didn’t think of it like that. He had Brooke so much on his mind that he grew obsessed with her again. Ridge told his son to reserve some of that anger for him. Thomas realized what he was doing.
He was experiencing a mental breakdown. Thomas had been obsessed with seeking happiness ever since he lost his job and his engagement to Paris (Diamond White—who had a hilarious reaction to the split). He didn’t realize that Ridge was happier with Brooke. All he was thinking about was himself.
New Happy Family?
Ridge told Thomas to stop blaming Brooke. She stepped out from behind Ridge and looked in Thomas’s eyes. The two held hands and then embraced. This was a shocking twist in this storyline.
Thomas could finally see this perspective from his father’s side. All these years, all he wanted was for his father to be happy. But he’s clearly happy and better off with Brooke, who accepts him for who he is, flaws and all.
Will Thomas finally accept Brooke into their family? Is he even genuine about Brooke and Ridge’s happiness? He could be playing the role of the good son as he schemes a way to get rid of Brooke for good. B&B fans didn’t want Thomas involved in this love triangle in the first place.
