At first, Taylor convinced Ridge to rethink ending their engagement. Then, on the Tuesday, September 9, 2025, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Taylor had a change of heart. She decided to let Ridge go… for good.
Taylor Is Finally Clean
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) called off his engagement to Taylor (Rebecca Budig). He told her he couldn’t marry her since he still loved Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). At first, Taylor begged him to take her back. She also warned him that Brooke would continue to hurt and betray them. She refused to let him go back to that “toxic” woman who has a “ridiculous hold” on his life.
Taylor reminded Ridge that he accepted her proposal. She didn’t push him into marriage, but he looked at her and shed a few tears. Then, on Tuesday’s episode, Taylor had a moment of clarity. She realized that she didn’t want to be a pawn in Ridge’s game anymore. She didn’t want to be the rebound for whenever things went wrong with Brooke.
Reclaiming Herself
Taylor boldly declared that she would finally let go of Ridge for good. She believed that he would leave Brooke once again. Ridge didn’t expect Taylor to understand his side. He apologized and said that everything had changed in Naples. He realized that he couldn’t live without Brooke after saving her life.
Ridge claimed he never intended to hurt Taylor. She hugged him one last time as she sobbed. Then, Ridge finally let go and assured Taylor that she would be fine. Taylor was grateful for the time they shared together. The engagement proved what they have.
But in the back of her mind, she knew this would happen. She knew that Brooke was his destiny. Taylor isn’t going to leave Los Angeles this time. She’s staying there for their family. Will Ridge and Brooke finally have their happily ever after? Will Taylor finally move on?
