Eric is critically ill and counting down the days until he dies. Even though his The Bold and the Beautiful family and friends have been encouraging the fashion designer to take his doctor’s advice, he’s trying to fight his symptoms on his own. He’s giving his loved ones a huge reason to be worried. It also seems like a lot of key figures from the Forrester family seem to be missing during this very critical time in Eric’s life, including Rick Forrester. Where is he? There’s a very good chance that Rick not being clued in about his father’s illness might reignite a new feud between him and his brother Ridge.
Rick Forrester Is Being Left Out
A few Forresters are coming into town, including Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) and Thorne Forrester (Winsor Harmon). Yet, it seems like a few people have been left out of the group chat. One of those happens to be Rick Forrester (Jacob Young). He was always close to his father, so why has no one called him to tell him Eric (John McCook) is dying? Rick would want to see him during what might be his last few weeks alive. Sure, there might have been some bad blood in the past, but there’s no reason why Rick shouldn’t be at his father’s funeral.
Bad Royal Blood
There’s no knowing why Rick hasn’t been brought back. If Rick does find out about his father’s illness and it’s too late, there’s no doubt that he’ll take out all of his anger on his brother, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). The two are so much like Prince William and Prince Harry. There’s a lot of bad blood between them.

Rick’s absence in this storyline might reignite a new feud. But, just like Prince William, Ridge probably feels like his brother isn’t worthy of a short text message. Harry felt just as left out before Queen Elizabeth passed away. But, on The Bold and the Beautiful, it’s the king of the fashion world who might soon take his last breath.
