There are very obvious reasons as to why Luna (Lisa Yamada) is unfit to be a mother. The first reason is that she’s both loony and delusional, which makes for a dangerous combination.
She was convinced that Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) was attracted to her. But he’s disgusted at the mere sight of her. So, she got him drunk and raped him when he was alone and vulnerable.
In her mind, they shared something beautiful that night. Luna also believes that she’s the love of Will’s life, not Electra (Laneya Grace). Seeing them moving in together might finally give her the reality check that she needs.
Luna could never be a mother because she doesn’t have a strong grasp of reality. She would believe that she and Will have a happy family together when it couldn’t be further from the truth. Plus, she’d lie to their child about Will’s love for them.
Cold-Blooded Killer
The obvious reason she’s unfit to be a mom: she murdered two people (that we know of). She also tried to kill Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) more than once.
A baby shouldn’t end up in Luna’s care. She could end up harming her child. Or worse, she’d kill her child once she realized that they no longer serve a purpose in her life. She’d be the type of mom who’d kill her child for looking at her the wrong way. Luna has a toxic relationship with her own mom, which would rub off on her poor child.
Manipulative Mom in Training
Let’s also not forget that Luna’s manipulative. She tried to call the shots when she briefly lived at the Spencer Estate. Luna thought she could get the family to do whatever she wanted because she’s pregnant.
Previously, she tried to con Bill (Don Diamont) into thinking he was her biological father. Then, she tried to get him to think she was in danger while in prison. But Bill has caught onto Luna’s manipulative ways. He guessed that she conned someone into punching her out, and he’s right. Luna asked one of her fellow inmates to leave her bruised and bloodied, so she could get out of prison.
We can’t imagine what she’d do to her own child. She’d probably teach her child to be evil just like her. Unfortunately, this child would be raised in an unsafe and unstable environment if Luna had her way.
Thankfully, Katie (Heather Tom) is taking this matter into her hands. She and Bill will raise Luna’s child instead. Does B&B’s Will want to be a father?
