Note To B&B’s Zende Forrester Dominguez: Don’t Be A Mate Poacher

We had some sympathy for The Bold and the Beautiful‘s Zende Forrester Dominguez. He was treated a bit callously at Forrester Creations in favor of RJ. One could understand how he was disappointed at being passed over to work with Eric, especially when he had more experience and better training. However, that doesn’t make it OK to try to steal your cousin’s girlfriend. Even if she is as lovely as Luna.

Zende Forrester Dominguez: Creepy

Up to this point, Zende (Delon de Metz) was somewhat relatable. Though his anger may be justified, he certainly isn’t handling it the right way. He could channel his frustration into his designs and attempt to shine brighter. Zende might remain dignified and have faith that his hard work will eventually be recognized. He can choose not to blame RJ (Joshua Hoffman) for what has gone down in the office and try to preserve his relationship with his cousin.

What does Zende do instead? He literally tricks poor Luna (Lisa Yamada) and attempts to push himself on her, in a very creepy way. (You can revisit that here.) Luna was so excited for a special date with RJ, but — lo and behold — there’s Zende. Awkward! Luna handled herself extremely well, being kind but firm to Zende that she was only interested in RJ.

A normal man might understand that the object of his affection is just not interested. But Zende persisted and even tried to plant a kiss on Luna. Gracefully, she turned and offered her cheek. Doesn’t this guy get the message? Apparently, not.

Zende Vs. RJ

Zende continued to lurk and spy on Luna and RJ together at the office, and it seemed like he was not going to drop it. RJ yelling and going ballistic on him didn’t seem to faze Zende either. What kind of person doesn’t take no for an answer? Moreover, what kind of man needs to steal another man’s girl? A narcissist can’t believe that a woman wouldn’t like him, and that is what Zende is starting to look like. Not a good look!

It is embarrassing to watch Zende make a bit of a fool of himself and still not get it. Especially, given his recent romantic past on the show, with Paris (Diamond White) choosing Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) over him.
