Bill wanted to give Luna a new lease on life. He felt that she should serve time at his house rather than in prison. But he didn’t realize his mistake in The Bold and the Beautiful.
Second Chances
B&B viewers have mixed feelings about Luna (Lisa Yamada) being given a second chance. Bill (Don Diamont) felt bad when he learned that she got beaten up in prison. He used his dollar bills to give her a better life. He transferred her from jail to his house, where she was placed under house arrest. Bill believes that Luna has been reformed and deserves better.
The two spend time talking about their shared trauma. Bill and Luna realized that they have more in common than they thought. They both grew up with difficult childhoods where their mothers messed up their psyche. Luna believes Poppy’s (Romy Park) free-love lifestyle was the reason she turned into a cold-blooded murderer. Bill also blames his mother for the mistakes he’s made in his life.

Time For Some Better Help
Bill shouldn’t be a shoulder for Luna to lean on. He should be getting her the care she needs. The missing piece in Bill’s plan is not taking care of Luna’s mental health. She should be working on her trauma with a licensed professional. That way, she can heal and not return to her bad-girl ways. Being trapped in Bill’s home won’t do her psyche any good.
Bill’s taken on this heavy load himself. This trauma bond could bring the characters together in a way that we don’t want to ever see again. (Will Luna manipulate her way into Bill’s bed?) Luna and Bill might become more than friends since they’re not blood-related. It would be best for Luna to live in a guest house or another home where she has access to the best care. After all, Bill has the money and resources to make it happen.
