Interrogation Period
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) didn’t hold back on his feelings about Hope’s (Annika Noelle) rehiring. He pressed Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) for questions. Steffy had to stay mum about the real reason why she invited Hope back to Forrester Creations. They are remaining civil for the sake of their daughters because of Liam’s (Scott Clifton) dying moments.
Steffy only shared that they had a good conversation and wanted to move on from their past. While Ridge agreed with her, he couldn’t understand how she could trust Hope again, especially after her part in the coup attempt. Ridge joked that Steffy and Hope could become BFFs, and we could see that happening as well.
But where does that leave Hope for the Future? Steffy admitted that she’s not in that mindset to make that decision. She would rather consult her father. Popping The Question
Meanwhile, at Carter’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) loft, he popped the question. At first, Hope was reluctant to give him an answer. She assumed he was already committed to her, and she didn’t need a ring to prove his love. We got flashbacks to when Hope rejected Thomas’ (Matthew Atkinson) proposal.

But then she confessed that she had thought about their future. She could see them getting married. What won her over was that Carter said he would become Beth’s stepdad. At the end of the episode, Hope finally said “yes” to Carter. Not only did they get back together, but they’re also engaged. Exciting things are happening in Los Angeles.
