Where Is Your Heart?
First, we need to talk about Hope (Annika Noelle) and her confused heart. She’s been all over the place since she divorced Liam (Scott Clifton), and we see some of those cracks in Friday’s episode. Hope told Liam that she wanted him to be happy with her. She was giving him her heart. But Liam was hesitant because of all the hurt he’s caused her in their marriage.
Meanwhile, Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) overheard their conversation outside the Logan Estate. He looked visibly distraught. Carter should’ve stuck around to see what happened next. In a surprising twist, Liam rejected Hope’s plea. He told her that she needed to forgive Carter and to give him another chance. Liam noticed the way that Hope looks at Carter. She no longer looks at her ex-husband this way.
Only The Lonely
Meanwhile, a dejected Carter walked back to the office. He encountered Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), who spoke to Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) about Hope and Carter’s relationship. She assured Daphne that they were meant to be together. Brooke came to Hope’s defense and said that she had every right to work there.
Carter walked into their conversation. He told Brooke that he wanted to speak to Daphne alone. He told Daphne that she was right about Hope. (Is Carter in love, or is he delusional?) Suddenly, Carter didn’t want to be in the office anymore. He was reminded of his relationship with Hope. Daphne could tell that Carter was hurt. She told him that she wasn’t going to leave him alone.
Carter brought Daphne to his house. We can already see where this is going… Once again, Carter said that Daphne knew Hope better than he did. Then, he recounted his poor track record with women. Daphne told Carter that she would always be there for him.
She assured him that his heart doesn’t have to be broken anymore. Meanwhile, Liam was encouraging Hope to go back to Carter. Will she walk in on Daphne and Carter in a moment of passion?
