Taylor and Ridge are engaged. The two finally made it official on The Bold and the Beautiful. On the Friday, June 27th episode, RJ finally got a mention. It’s been a while since we’ve seen him on the soap. Does this mean that he will show up at the wedding?
Tridge Wedding In the Works
Taylor (Rebecca Budig) took matters into her own hands. She popped the question while at lunch at Il Giardino with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) to gauge his feelings about their future. Ridge assured Taylor that he loved her and that he was committed to her. Shouldn’t that be enough? But apparently, it’s not enough when Ridge is constantly thinking about his ex, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang).

Taylor has a feeling that Ridge wants Brooke back. She should breathe easy since Nick (Jack Wagner) is back in town. Yet, that wasn’t enough for her. She had to lock it down with a surprise engagement. Taylor pulled out her old ring and asked Ridge to be her husband. Thankfully, it wasn’t awkward, and he said yes.
What About RJ?
The last time we saw RJ (Joshua Hoffman) was last year. He wondered about his future after his relationship with Luna (Lisa Yamada) crumbled. She turned out to be a cold-blooded killer, which made him question everything, even his love for the fashion world. RJ never had an interest in fashion. He only worked at Forrester Creations because Luna worked there as an intern. He also wanted to spend more time with his grandfather.

Unfortunately, RJ left town and we haven’t seen him since. Taylor brought up RJ’s reaction to their engagement. She hoped that he would accept. RJ would have a say about this relationship. After all, Ridge left Brooke for Taylor. Also, Ridge suggested that they move back into the Spencer beachhouse. But that was turned into a makeshift art school. RJ brought logic to both families. It would be nice to get his input.
