This Is How B&B’s Eric Will Change After His Near-Death Ordeal

Eric has learned he has more than one life to live.

 Comments

The Bold and the Beautiful’s Eric Forrester didn’t go to that great soap in the sky, for which both he and his portrayer, John McCook, are grateful. He’s still got some designs to create and some stories to tell. There are also other things in store for the character. But what exactly?

Man of Tomorrow

Eric may have spent some of his illness in a coma but he can’t forget his experience as a man who hovered between life and death. He can thank both his grandson-in-law Finn (Tanner Novlan) and daughter Bridget (Ashley Jones) for helping save his life. Now, Eric gets to ask, “What do I want to do today? And tomorrow?”

Changed For Good

It’s also only natural for Eric to have been changed by this experience now that he’s had to face his own mortality. No one would be surprised if Eric wants to get back to work ASAP and start cranking out designs and completing unfinished products. He’s now realized that life is short and precious. Eric will not only want to get back to work more quickly but he’ll also enjoy every day he has with Donna (Jennifer Gareis).

One Day at a Time

Then again, Eric’s going to realize that life is precious but he’s not going to rush through the next part of it. He’ll focus on work and his life with Donna — and it looks like he will even marry her — but he’ll take things slowly. Eric’s not going to want to rush to get things done. He wants to savor each moment, and that means making sure he’s in that moment.

Making an Impact

It’s more likely that Eric will be a changed man by his near-death experience. He’s going to be very attuned to those around him. Eric has always been supportive but we can expect to see him being even more kind to his loved ones. Don’t be surprised to see Eric encourage his children, grandchildren, and other loved ones to pursue their dreams and follow their hearts.
