Bill Spencer on The Bold and the Beautiful has some serious groveling to do to make up for his biggest blunder ever: arranging Luna’s release from prison. In fact, he’s already on that path.
Mia Culpa
Bill (Don Diamont) immediately took the necessary first step when he arrived at the hospital and took it like a man as Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) chastised him for putting Liam (Scott Cilifton) and their family at risk. He owned up to the fact that everything that happened was his fault.
Bill took responsibility for his actions and acknowledged his wrongdoing in orchestrating the release of convicted killer Luna (Lisa Yamada). He owned up to his mistake and expressed his deep, sincere regret for his grave error in judgment.

A Determined Father
Insisting on fighting everyone opposed to him visiting Liam in his hospital room was another big move. Bill’s determination was a testament to his deep love for his son, despite his sometimes questionable actions and behavior.
No one was going to stop Bill from seeing Liam. He admitted through tear-filled eyes that he could have lost Liam, and it would have been his fault. Given a second chance, he was hellbent on making things right.

Having learned about Liam’s “fatal” brain tumor sparked something in Bill. Confronting the situation with his son, he promised to do everything in his power to help him.
As a man who never takes no for an answer, Bill was propelled to take action. He was prepared to use his wealth, his power, and all his resources to find a way to save Liam.
Money, Money, Money
Ultimately, Bill’s financial fortune will be the crucial final step in his redemption. The billionaire has the bucks to spend whatever it takes to bring Liam back from the brink of death.
So when Grace (Cassandra Creech) dangled experimental surgery as an option to save him, a procedure that’s very expensive, Bill was on board. In fact, without a moment’s hesitation, he volunteered to give her a blank check. He’d do anything to heal his beloved son.
Quickly convincing Liam that he wouldn’t survive his brain tumor any other way, he signed off on the procedure. Now all everyone can do is wait and pray for Liam’s inevitable life-saving surgery. Because, come on, does anyone really believe he’s going to die? Once it’s a success and Liam makes a full recovery, Bill will be totally redeemed.
