Hope Logan and Finn: Is This B&B’s End Game?

With Steffy off in Europe with her children and Liam pretty much MIA from The Bold and the Beautiful canvas of late, the soap has been delivering some subtle, yet significant Hope and Finn scenes. As a viewer, you have to wonder why. Are the pair simply consoling each other during tough times in their respective lives? Or is a Hope Logan and Finn pairing the soap’s end game?

Hope Logan & Finn Finnegan: Two of a Kind

As Hope (Annika Noelle) has realized of late, she and Finn (Tanner Novlan) have a lot in common. They’re both calm and levelheaded. Finn’s a bona fide good guy; she’s the altruistic girl next door. He’s totally devoted to his family, and she’s fully committed to hers. To be honest, Hope and Finn are far better suited for each other than they are for Liam (Scott Clifton) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

Bold and Beautiful: A Bond of Friendship

With their respective love lives on the fritz, and their worlds deeply intertwined by Liam and Steffy’s past, it makes sense that they’d confide in each other. When Hope opened up about her failed marriage and new relationship with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson), Finn was the perfect sounding board.

He listened intently and delivered his honest assessment of the situation. Perhaps Hope was turning to Thomas because he was totally consumed with her, something she lacked with the flip-flopping Liam. And Finn was quick to point out that Hope “deserved better” than his rascal of a brother-in-law. Surprisingly, it seemed to resonate with Hope. In fact, Finn seemed get through to her in a way no one else had.

B&B: Getting Closer

Finn’s begun opening up to Hope, too. When Deacon (Sean Kanan) and Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) stunned him by revealing that they’re in love, he was understandably taken aback. After making it clear that it meant nothing to him and he still wanted Sheila to stay out of his life, Finn headed straight to see Hope. The Deacon-Sheila pairing gives Hope and Finn another huge thing in common.

Aside from them both having significant others, who have divided hearts – Liam for Steffy and vice versa, they now have parents who are involved in a relationship. It’s a scenario that neither of them saw coming. Yet, they’ll both have to weather it and figure out how to deal with it. In the process, the whole complicated mess will likely draw Hope and Finn closer.
