Does B&B’s Finn See Hope Logan As Just A Friend or Something More?

Yes, we all know that The Bold and the Beautiful’s Finn is happily married to Steffy. But, he seems awfully preoccupied with protecting Hope Logan from his wife’s brother even if it could jeopardize his marriage. Is this just Finn’s knight-in-shining-armor instincts kicking in for any damsel in distress or could he have feelings for Hope?

Hope Logan Deserves Better

Finn (Tanner Novlan) has had some key one-on-one time with Hope (Annika Noelle) recently. Even before Xander (Adain Bradley) accused Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) of murder, the dashing doc told Hope that she was too good for Thomas. Finn sympathized with Hope’s frustration of playing second fiddle to Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) in her marriage to Liam (Scott Clifton). He even urged her to find a one-woman man in anyone else but Thomas.

Finn went on to tell Hope what a special woman she is — smart, beautiful, accomplished. He told her that she is like his mother. Li (Naomi Matsuda) is a smart, beautiful, accomplished woman who needs some protection, too.

Pushing Boundaries

Finn’s compliments could just express platonic respect and admiration for Hope. One could wonder how Steffy would react if she witnessed their interaction, though. When Steffy found out that Hope even just had a conversation with her husband, she instantly seemed territorial. If Steffy heard the list of accolades Finn bestowed upon her rival, she certainly wouldn’t like it — and would make her displeasure known.

With an accusation of murder against Thomas, Finn’s need to protect Hope has clearly gone up a notch or two. Is he neglecting Steffy’s feelings in the process? Instead of treading lightly with his wife’s brother to keep the peace in his marriage, Finn flat-out threatened Thomas. (You can revisit that here.) It’s sure to become a sticking point in their relationship.

Finn to the Rescue

If Finn were to have feelings for Hope, she may provide a different kind of energy than his wife does. Where Steffy is bold and bossy, Finn might feel like more of an alpha male with the less domineering and attention-seeking Hope.
