Daphne hasn’t had the chance to be with Carter on The Bold and the Beautiful. He’s still getting over his heartbreak of ending things with Hope. But Daphne is giving up without a fight. She’s determined to get her man. However, she’s not good at reading the cues.
Concerned About Carter
At first, Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) seemed concerned about Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor). She could see the regret on his face when Hope (Annika Noelle). Daphne asked Carter what he sees when he looks in the mirror. She was able to speak to his heart and to share how he was really feeling about the Forrester Creations takeover.
But now it looks like Daphne has taken a turn. Is she really concerned about Carter’s feelings? Or is this a manipulation tactic to steal Carter away from Hope? That was her job in the beginning. Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) hired Daphne to break up the golden couple. But then Daphne ended up having real feelings for him.

Carter’s Decision
In a recent episode of B&B, Carter confided in Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) about his feelings for Hope. He admitted that he’s still in love with her and hasn’t stopped thinking about her ever since. His lingering feelings made us wonder whether Carter will become an obsessed ex-boyfriend on B&B.
But something else happened during that scene. Daphne overheard Carter’s conversation with Brooke outside the office door. Her mind was spinning about the time when she vowed that she would fight for her man. We’re beginning to see the wheels turn in Daphne’s mind. She could spiral and go down a dark path. In her mind, Daphne might already think that Carter belongs to her.
What Does This Mean For Daphne?
Carter confessed to Brooke that he still loves her daughter. Yet, Daphne fails to read the room. Instead of leaving, she uses this opportunity to interrupt them and seduce Carter once they’re alone. He doesn’t seem interested in kissing her. Of course, that could change since he’s looking to nurse his broken heart. But does Daphne really want to end up as the rebound?
Daphne thinks she still has a chance. We could see a confident French woman who is obsessive and possessive. How far will Daphne go to get her man? Will she try to brainwash Carter into thinking he belongs to her? Or will she use her scent to lure him back in? Who knows what she could be concocting in her signature scent?
Maybe there’s something lethal in that perfume that Carter should be worried about. We could see Daphne knocking him out with her scene and making him think they were getting married. Of course, this wouldn’t be the first time that someone has become obsessed with their love interest on B&B. We’re excited to see what happens next in this storyline. Daphne certainly isn’t going to give up without a fight.
