On Monday, September 8, CBS announced a crossover between Beyond the Gates and The Bold and the Beautiful. These two will cross paths, which could complicate matters with his already messy love life.

Currently, on B&B, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) called off his engagement to Taylor (Rebecca Budig). In a rash decision, he realized that he still loved Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), who nearly lost her life in Naples. Upon leaving Taylor brokenhearted, Ridge surprised Brooke with a rose and a proposal.
The two are now planning their upcoming nuptials, which are far from fancy. Ridge is in the mood for love, and when the mood strikes, you can’t stop him. He wanted to get married at the office and have Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) officiate the nuptials, whose own wedding might not happen. Ridge is finally taking control of his love life, but will it last for long?

Meanwhile, Dani (Karla Mosley) is newly divorced and dating Andre (Sean Freeman), who is younger than her. But she might realize that she prefers an older and successful man like Ridge. She was used to that kind of partnership when she was married to Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett).
She will come to a startling realization during her trip to Los Angeles, which will bring her to B&B. “Dani and Andre’s impromptu trip together leads to shocking revelations and directs Dani toward a promising connection with Ridge Forrester in a crossover on The Bold and the Beautiful,” the announcement read, per Entertainment Weekly. Could Dani realize that Andre isn’t the man for her? Or could her dreams of becoming a modeling manager finally come true?
