Flirtationship
Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) is in a flirty mood, but it’s not with Hope (Annika Noelle). He got flirty with Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) upon her arrival. The scent of her perfume immediately put him in a trance. Carter couldn’t get that silly grin off his face from the moment he saw her.
Also, he was quite flirtatious throughout their conversation. He had never acted this way around Daphne before. Daphne was all over him months ago, and he didn’t seem interested in her. Did he have a change of heart after she left for Paris? He seemed a little too excited to see her back in town.

Carter wanted to know how long Daphne was staying in Los Angeles. She shrugged and coolly responded, “We shall see.” Then, Carter admitted that he’d missed her lately. This caught Daphne by surprise, especially since he chose Hope over her. That’s what had Daphne heading back in the first place.
The Better Waffling Man
Hope needed to walk into Carter and Daphne’s interaction. She would’ve given their engagement a second thought. Carter’s wandering eyes could have her headed back into the arms of another waffling man. Hope might realize that she wants Liam (Scott Clifton) after all. Those feelings she had during his health crisis were actually feelings of love.
