On the Thursday, February 13 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Carter’s inner circle questions his integrity. He realizes that someone is missing at Forrester Creations, which grapples with his guilt.
Nosying Around
Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) had an interesting conversation about Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor). Daphne admitted that she was attracted to him. After all, he’s good-looking, charming, and successful. She can also tell he’s a good guy despite the Forrester Creations takeover. But there’s someone in the way. That person is Hope (Annika Noelle).
Steffy feels that Hope got to his head. Daphne made it her personal vow to break up the couple. She sauntered over to his office after their conversation. Daphne was willing to get into his head. She laid it on thick as she told Carter he was a kind, considerate, and dedicated man. She also revealed that she was against the takeover. Daphne also said that Hope has him wrapped around her fingers, which has messed with his integrity. Daphne’s insights obviously mess with Carter’s head.

Will The Real Carter Please Stand Up?
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) walked into their conversation and overheard what Daphne told him. Brooke felt that Carter should listen to Daphne’s keen insights. The young French woman could already read Carter perfectly, and they had just met weeks ago. Obviously, Carter had made quite an impression on her. Daphne could be the one who gets to the core of his guilt.
Brooke already made it clear how she feels about the coup attempt. She also knows that Carter feels that way deep down. Brooke can tell that he also misses his best friend and right-hand man, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). She broke down as she thought about her “destiny.” Carter wanted to know why Brooke was crying and making this about herself. She told him that she knew he was crying inside because he missed Ridge.
She knows they share a mutual love for Ridge. They both lost him because of the takeover. After all, Ridge and Eric (John McCook) should be manning the company, not them. Carter had an important decision to make. Will he continue running Forrester Creations? Business as usual? Or will he give it back to Ridge? Carter expressed guilt as the memories of their friendship flooded to the surface. Brooke begged Carter to think about their friendship.
