5 Bold Summer Predictions for The Bold and the Beautiful

It’s summertime and life is complicated over at The Bold and the Beautiful. A marriage — Hope and Liam — is in shambles. Taylor’s the odd woman out again. And Sheila Carter is still in the slammer. So what’s next? Here are five bold summer predictions for the CBS soap.

Bold and the Beautiful: 5 Predictions

1. Liam’s (Scott Clifton) gone rogue after seeing Hope (Annika Noelle) kiss Thomas (Matthew Atkinson). He’s moved out of their home, said he wants a divorce, and has begun pursuing Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). The problem is she’s happily married to Finn (Tanner Novlan). Yet, Steffy was mad about Liam for years, and they were married and share a child. This isn’t going to be as cut and dried as Steffy telling Liam to back off. Eventually, she will be tempted, leading to Finn erupting and putting his foot down.

2. Being separated from Liam gives Hope free rein to explore things with Thomas. But don’t expect a Hope Gone Wild scenario. She’ll quickly realize the error of her ways, not wanting to replicate her mother’s ways. The shift will cause Thomas to revert to some old patterns to keep her interested.

3. Quinn returns to L.A., after way too long away. If it can’t be the divine Rena Sofer, the soap should recast the character. She’ll harbor a secret, and once it’s uncovered, her exes, Eric (John McCook) and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor), will flock to her side to support her, making them both reconsider ever letting her get away.

4. Although Taylor (Krista Allen) professes to be content with her kids, grandchildren, and fulfilling career, she’s a vibrant woman who needs more in her life. So who will she turn her attention to with Ridge is out of the picture? Dollar Bill (Don Diamont) looks like the perfect fit, and it would be just the thing that gets Katie (Heather Tom) second-guessing her decision to walk away from him.

5. Things haven’t been the same since Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) was sent to the slammer. There will be an update on her legal woes and subsequent prison sentence that bring the MIA villainess back to the story forefront. Deacon (Sean Kanan) will feel compelled to support her despite the repercussions.
