Who’s coming and who’s going from The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) this week or in the not-too-distant future?
Here’s the latest casting news from the CBS soap.
The week of February 6, 2023
Jill Remez has been cast as Judge Gomez. Look for the legal official to appear on Friday, February 10, overseeing the custody battle for Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) between Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
Remez is a daytime alumna. She recurred on Passions as Juanita Vasquez, an old friend (and, later, enemy) of Pilar Lopez from 2007 to 2008. As Juanita, she married into the Mexican cartel unknowingly. When her old friend Pilar tried to tell her, she didn’t believe her. When her husband Carlos viciously raped Pilar, Lopez killed him in self-defense. The police rushed into the estate and killed Juanita’s family. Vasquez was sent to prison where she blamed Pilar for the demise of her family.
Juanita showed up in Harmony to enact her revenge on Pilar and her family but was foiled by Sam Bennett before the bomb she planted to destroy the Lopez family. She was returned to prison and Pilar was free of her constant fear of retaliation. The actress went to play Mrs. Perez on Days of our Lives in 2012.
Speaking of Douglas, Henry Joseph Samiri airs on the Bold and the Beautiful as the young Forrester on Friday, February 10. The child will be involved in scenes with the aforementioned Remez, when the judge meets with Douglas and members of his family. Will he choose to stay with Hope? Or will Thomas win full custody of his son? Is Thomas ready to be the father he needs to be? Regardless of Douglas’s choice, someone will have their heart broken. Tune in for the drama!
