The week of November 16, 2020
The show’s favorite pint-sized star is finally headed back on screen. Henry Joseph Samiri makes his return as Douglas Forrester, Thomas’s (Matthew Atkinson) adorable son, on Tuesday, November 17. The young actor hasn’t been seen since the soap resumed production in June, following the coronavirus shutdown.
As longtime viewers know, Samiri has been a pivotal player on the soap and a driving storyline force, since he first appeared in the role in March 2019. Viewers can expect more of the same from the talented tyke.
The Bold and the Beautiful History
BB made its debut in 1987 and introduced glitz and glamour to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, three decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Stephanie’s (Susan Flannery) iron grip on her family to Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) evil schemes to the epic love story of Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), BB knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting and daytime soap operas are shrinking.
Bringing the Drama
It is one of four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), Days of our Lives (DAYS), and The Young and the Restless (YR). BB airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
