Who’s coming and who’s going from the casts of The Bold and the Beautiful (BB), Days of our Lives (Days), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR)? Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas.

Soap Opera Casting For The Week Of November 1, 2021

Find out if any of your favorite performers from yesteryear are returning to the shows you follow, or if any new actors or actresses have been cast in contract, recurring, or day player roles.

Days of our Lives

Days of our Lives will feature some spooky surprises and big star returns, this week when Mar-Devil (Deidre Hall) conjures up the evil spirits of some dead Salem residents. The dead men walking and wreaking havoc include Blake Berris, who was killed off as Nick Fallon in 2014; Vincent Irizarry, who met his demise as Deimos Kiriakis in 2017; and Mike Manning, who was murdered as Charlie Dale, Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) bad boy son and Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) rapist earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Richie Stevens wraps up his DAYS run as Carmine, this week. Look for the Vitali henchman to suddenly meet his demise.

The Bold and the Beautiful

Over at The Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) missing mother, Dr. Taylor Hayes, will soon be resurfacing. However, she won’t be played by Hunter Tylo, who originated the character in 1990. DAYS’ veteran Krista Allen, who played Billie Reed from 1996 to 1999, has been cast in the role. She’ll begin appearing as Taylor next month.

General Hospital

On the General Hospital front, Genie Francis, who exited Port Charles as Laura Collins in August, is back on set taping scenes. The town’s mayor will begin airing sometime this month.

Jeff Kober will be popping back in as Laura’s brother, Cyrus Renault, too. Look for the incarcerated drug lord air this week.

Finally, the mystery man Robert Gossett has been playing has a name: Marshall. He’s the guy who’s been lurking around Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). Gossett previously played Officer Ed Jenkins on Santa Barbara, lawyer Woody Stumper on Passions, and Dan Szymborski on Young and the Restless.

It is one of four soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include Days of our Lives (DOOL), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR). The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
