After a long absence, Michael Graziadei is heading back to The Young and the Restless as Daniel Romalotti, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Danny Romalotti’s (Michael Damian) son. The actor originally played DanIel from 2004 to 2013, briefly returning in 2016. There’s no word yet as to how long he’ll be on the canvas.
Trevor St. John (ex-Victor Lord Jr., One Life to Live) returns to the soap world this week. He’s set to play a character whose identity is being kept top secret and will debut on Wednesday, September 28.
Some old favorites and a pair of newcomers are heading to Days of our Lives in the upcoming weeks; all of whom appeared in the soap’s fall preview.
This week, Marci Miller resurfaces as the late Abigail Deveraux DiMera. She’ll appear as a vision in emotional scenes opposite Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Cady McClain).
Kyle Lowder is back for another visit as Rex Brady, too. The character returns to Salem to visit his ailing mother, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow).
Among the other big returns will be Roark Critchlow, remembered as Mike Horton, later this month. And Lamon Archey is slated to make a special holiday visit as Eli Grant.
Meanwhile, on the newcomer front, Victoria Grace and Tanner Stine, who made their debuts in the second installment of Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem, will be joining the mother soap this month. Grace portrays Wendy Shin, Li Shin’s (Remington Hoffman) sister. Stine plays Joey Johnson, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady Johnson’s (Mary Beth Evans) son. The character was previously portrayed by James Lastovic.
Max Decker is back on the General Hospital scene as Johann, Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) trusted bodyguard airs this week.
On the exit front, Johnny Wactor made his final appearance as Brando Corbin, stunning fans. His character died after being attacked by the hook-wielding killer terrorizing Port Charles. Wactor began his stint as Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) cousin back in January 2020.
