Who’s coming and who’s going from the soap opera casts of The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless?
Soap Opera Casting For The Week of November 6, 2023
Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas. Find out if any of your favorite performers from yesteryear are returning to the shows you follow, or if any new actors or actresses have been cast in contract, recurring, or day-player roles.
General Hospital
There’s another Cerullo heading to General Hospital. On the heels of Rena Sofer’s return as Lois Cerullo, Ellen Travolta will be reprising her role as Gloria Cerullo, Lois’ mother. Travolta originally recurred on the soap opera as the character from 1994 to 1996. She’ll begin appearing later this month.
Matias Ponce plays Salvatore this week. The photographer will be shooting new pictures of Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) for Deception.
Victor Clarke pops up as Devon. The character will share scenes with Donnell Turner’s Curtis.
Days of our Lives
Remington Hoffman is wrapping up his three-year run as Li Shin on Days of our Lives. His character is set to meet his demise. Hoffman joined the soap opera in 2020. He also portrayed the DiMera Enterprises businessman on the digital series, Chad & Abby in Paris, and the Peacock special, Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem.
David S. Lee continues to wreak havoc as Clyde Weston’s (James Read) henchman, Gil. He appears in scenes opposite Tamara Braun’s Ava Vitali and Lucas Adams’ Tripp Johnson on Monday, November 6.
The Bold and the Beautiful
December 5 marks the return of Thorne Forrester. Winsor Harmon reprises his role as the Forrester sibling. Following his lead is Ashley Jones who reappears as Bridget Forrester on December 6.
After a previous appearance via a video phone call on The Bold and the Beautiful, Romy Park finally surfaces in the flesh as Penelope “Poppy” Nozawa. She’ll share scenes opposite her estranged sister, Naomi Matsuda’s Li Finnegan, on Friday, November 10.
Justiin Davis returns as Dr. Colby. Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) lead physician airs on Tuesday, November 7.
Henry DiNapoli plays Brodie on Tuesday, November 7. The actor has aired on the soap opera previously in small roles. Back in 2022, he appeared as a paramedic and bike attendant.
With the Forrester fashion show over and done, Marie Osmond has wrapped her stint as Countess Von Frankfurt. Meanwhile, The Young and the Restless’ Tracey Bregman and Kate Linder have completed their visits as Lauren Fenmore and Esther Valentine, respectively.

Mattilyn R. Kravitz appears as Dr. George on Monday, November 6. She’ll share scenes with Camryn Grimes’ Mariah Copeland and Cait Fairbanks’ Tessa Porter, when the two moms bring their daughter, Aria, in for additional hearing tests on The Young and the Restless.
Tricia Cast pops back in as Nina Webster on Wednesday, November 8. She’ll interact with her onscreen son, Connor Floyd’s Chance Chancellor.
