The Bold and the Beautiful is slowly building toward Zende’s breaking point. At first, he understood the assignment. Zende told Ridge and Steffy that he would help out with the shift towards couture. Forrester Creations pushed back Hope for the Future again, shifting the focus to Eric’s designs and legacy. Zende shared how he really felt with Carter. Despite being a Forrester, he is tired of being overlooked and is using Hope’s line to express his frustrations.

Key Takeaways

  • Zende expressed his frustrations to Carter about Hope’s line being pushed back again.
  • Once again, Zende’s hard work has gone unnoticed.
  • Zende considers himself part of the Forrester family but feels overlooked, especially with the golden boy, R.J., back in town.
  • The Forresters could push Zende toward a major personal or professional shift.

Zende Shares a Shocking Reaction to HFTF

On Friday’s episode, Zende (Delon de Metz) crumpled up a piece of paper and threw it across the room, just as Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) walked into the office. Carter wondered if that was meant for her. Zende apologized, saying he was frustrated. He was ready to tell someone how he really felt about Hope for the Future being sidelined.

At first, Zende took the news well. He told Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that he would help out with the couture projects. But now, Zende has grown tired of how things have been going at Forrester Creations.

Zende is appreciative of his job. However, he’s aware that the only reason he’s been put on couture is that Hope for the Future has been marginalized. He’s frustrated that the designs he’s worked so hard on will amount to nothing.

What makes things even more frustrating is that R.J. (Brayan Nicoletti), the Golden Boy, is back in town. As B&B viewers are already aware, R.J. and Zende never got along, despite being cousins. They got into a spat over Luna (Lisa Yamada) before she was exposed for her bad-girl ways. Zende was recently asked to review R.J.’s designs. He scoffed at the idea, since he’s been working so hard on HFTF.

The Shift in Zende’s Feelings

Zende fears that his work will never be on the runways now that R.J. is back. On top of that, Steffy made it clear she still hasn’t forgotten Hope (Annika Noelle) for the coup attempt years ago. Zende argued that he wasn’t the only one who was getting a raw deal.

Hope was, too. He’s not going to play second-fiddle to R.J. anymore. Zende’s sudden meltdown might have surprised fans. It seemed to come out of nowhere, since he seemed to be a supporter of the Forresters.

But his feelings go beyond working on couture. He fears being overlooked now that R.J. is back and reclaiming his place at Forrester Creations. The Forresters might favor the Golden Boy over the dedicated cousin who’s worked for their company for decades.

Zende’s raw, honest emotions hint at a major personal or professional shift. Will Zende and R.J. finally come face-to-face and stake their claim at FC? Or will Zende make the leap to Logan instead?
