The Bold and the Beautiful’s Sasha Lands A New Role!

Sasha hasn’t been seen much since she attended her sister Nicole’s wedding to Zende on The Bold and the Beautiful (BB), but her portrayer, Felisha Cooper’s getting plenty of screentime in the new sitcom Swedish Dicks. It debuts tonight on Pop at 8 p.m.

Soap Hub sat down with Cooper to get the scoop on her new series as well as where she thinks Sasha is these days.

Hangin’ With Mrs. Cooper
On Swedish Dicks, Cooper plays Sarah, the estranged daughter of Ingmar, played by Swedish actor Peter Stomare, who also created the series about two unlicensed private eyes, who set out to solve some of the weirdest crimes committed in Los Angeles.

Cooper says there are more differences between her two characters than there are similarities.

“Sasha was the new ‘bad girl’ in town, sleeping with everyone’s boyfriend,” says Cooper with a chuckle.

“Sarah’s more put together. They both have ‘daddy issues’ but Sasha handled them in a different way. Julius [Obba Babatundé] abandoned Sasha, but Ingmar seeks out Sarah, and she does want a connection with him.”

While both Swedish Dicks and B&B are set in Los Angeles, Cooper says that they’re very different visually.

“B&B does give that ‘Malibu beach house/everybody’s rich and beautiful’ look, but the L.A. in Swedish Dicks is like any other city.”

Where Is Sasha? 
Cooper can’t say where Sasha is for certain, but she suspects that she’s still somewhere in L.A.

“My opinion is that after she went to [Nicole and Zende’s] wedding and was there for her sister, she started thinking she had really messed up and decided she needed to do some soul searching,” the actress offers.

“So I think she’s laying low and, hopefully, she can return some day and prove what a different person she is. I’d like to see her go from going after what she wants to asking, ‘How can I give?'”

Swedish Dicks debuts tonight on Pop at 8 p.m. (An additional episode airs at 8:30 p.m.) Next week, new episodes will air once a week, Wednesdays at 8 p.m.
