Two new teens have surfaced from the Forrester and Spectra camps on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Ridge and Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) son, RJ, was the first one to surface in town. He was soon followed by Sally’s (Courtney Hope) adorable little sister, Coco, who’s an aspiring fashionista. Now that Coco’s landed an internship at Forrester Creations, it’s a safe bet she and RJ will be interacting a lot. And, who knows, perhaps the twosome might embark on a young romance.
How do fans of The Bold and the Beautiful feel about the show’s new teen scene? Here’s what you had to say.
They Need Better Storylines
Nearly half of you, some 49%, are all for the next generation of Forresters and Spectras emerging. However, you think they need better storylines than simply having Coco (Courtney Grosbeck) spy on FC. It’s been done before and is way too predictable; just like having RJ and Coco eventually fall for one another. They deserve something better and more intriguing.
What Teen Scene?
One guy and one gal do not make a teen scene, according to 28% of you. RJ and Coco are a nice start, but if the soap really wants to go younger, it’s going to have to add more kids to the mix. You’d love to see a teen Spencer join the party or, perhaps, introduce Charlie’s great niece… Anything that would spice things up.
They Need to Be Seen, Not Heard
The final 23% of you find the kids adorable, but you don’t want them to take center stage. You’re fine with Coco and RJ (Anthony Turpel) being seen on occasion, but you really don’t want them heard much. In your book, they should only serve as supporting players to the show’s older, more established cast members.
