Family is the name of the game on The Bold and the Beautiful these days.
Quinn’s (Rena Sofer) machinations have set it up so that Ridge and Steffy are playing Daddy/Daughter co-CEOs. But considering Ridge once wanted the entire top spot for himself, will he be happy sharing the spotlight?
One Chief, Many Indians
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) may not be Eric’s biological child, but he still sees himself as the Number One Forrester Son (Mama Stephanie favoring him above all her other children probably contributed to the egomania).
He believes he should be the rightful heir apparent, and, as a result, 51% of you believe he will never be happy to co(operate) with anyone, even his own daughter.
Beggars Can’t Be Choosers
A couple of weeks ago, Ridge wasn’t co-CEO of Forrester. He didn’t have any part of it. Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was the one posing for corporate photos in her underwear (Ridge probably thinks he’d have looked equally good in a Speedo).
Now at least he’s got something (and Rick is the one out in the cold, which always makes Ridge happy). He’s in charge of design (which is pissing off Thomas, but Ridge still isn’t over the whole Caroline, baby Douglas thing, so it’s doubtful he’s overly concerned), while Steffy handles the business end, and 34% voted that he’ll be content with that. After all, it’s not like he has much choice in the matter. Say no, and risk losing everything a second time.
Hug It Out
Just like politics makes strange bed-fellows, 15% of viewers figure if Ridge and Steffy are forced to share, they’ll find some way to make it work. Otherwise, the chairmanship goes back to Grandpa (John McCook), which means it really goes back to Quinn, and neither one wants that… though Ridge may come up with yet another of his brilliant plans involving her. That last one really worked well, didn’t it?
