The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, August 12, 2019, features another heartbreaking day. Sally got the low-down on Flo’s scheme and the fallout brought Steffy to her knees.
Goodbye Phoebe
The cliff house continued being the sight of many tears as the reality of Phoebe being Beth truly sunk in for Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). She went through many stages of grief in rapid-fire succession and realized she couldn’t keep Beth from her real mother.
Hope (Annika Noelle) assured Steffy she would never be cut out of Beth’s life. They would always be connected. They would raise the girls together like they originally planned. Everything would be the way they wanted it all along.
Steffy asked to hold the baby one more time and said goodbye to Phoebe and hello to Beth. She was her mother and she loves her but it’s time for Hope to take over.
After Hope, Liam (Scott Clifton), and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) walked out the door, Steffy collapsed in her father’s arms. The weight of saying goodbye was too much to bear.
The Bigger Liar
Meanwhile, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) broke the unbelievable tale to a very shocked Sally (Courtney Hope). It’s bad – very, very bad. Flo’s lies and deceit hurt everyone, most of all Hope and Steffy.
Much to Wyatt’s shock, Sally was less than supportive of his pain. He dumped her for much less and treated her horribly. Now, here he is, wanting a listening ear because his new girlfriend turned out to be a con.
Well, Sally’s no fool, but she does recognize a good thing when she sees it. She and Wyatt embraced as he warned him it would be a long road before they could ever get back together. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
