The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Friday, July 5 features a day of manipulative games and a not-so-shocking revelation. Xander reached his breaking point with Thoams and took matters into his own hands.

Just Say Yes
Hope (Annika Noelle) managed to redirect the proposal and get Douglas onto a new topic — bedtime. How could she say yes this fast, but how could she say no that cute face? Once the kiddo was in bed she had serious questions for Thomas.

They met at the cabin and she unleashed. Why would Douglas propose and where the heck did he get his hand on a ring? Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) had all the answers — or so he thought.

He played on Hope’s emotions and her sense of duty to the children. All she had to do was say yes and she could finally become a mother.

Kids Say The Strangest Things
Back at the main house, Liam (Scott Clifton) stopped in to talk to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) She confronted him about moving on so fast. He assured her she can’t make him feel worse than he already does. Their conversation was interrupted by Thomas coming down the stairs.

The little boy told them all about his proposal. Color them shocked! They knew Thomas was using Douglas but to get the little guy to propose is simply too much.

Caught On Camera!
Meanwhile, Xander (Adain Bradley) reached the end of his rope and told Zoe (Kiara Barnes) it was time to come clean. She refused, as usual, causing another battle between them. Well, if they can’t spill the least they can do is stop Thomas.

Xander set off to Charlie’s (Dick Christie) office. He got Charlie to show him the camera system saying his car was broken into. Charlie was called away from his desk and told Xander to scroll on through the footage to find who stole his stuff.

It didn’t take long for Xander to find the footage of the night Emma died. He saw her leave the office and Thomas race to follow her. It confirmed his worst fear — Thomas Forrester is a murderer! The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
