The Bold and the Beautiful star Denise Richards is one of Hollywood’s busiest actresses! She’s great at both moonlighting and promoting her projects. A recent visit to Entertainment Tonight allowed her to do both!

“A dream job to co-host @entertainmenttonight today with @kevinfrazier & @laurenzima,” Richards posted. “I had so much fun thank you for having me.” While at the ET table, Richards shared some scoop on what she’s learned about taping a soap opera. Host Lauren Zima asked Richards what goes into shooting scenes like the one in which Shauna let Zoe (Kiara Barnes) think that she was having sex with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor).

“There’s a stare where you are looking [at your scene partner], you look away, think about something…and then look back,” Richards explained. She confessed that what she might have been thinking about during that particular moment was having a turkey sandwich. (Hey, when you’re hungry you’re hungry!)

Zima asked Richards to describe the technique, which she did. “You look, look away, and then, look back,” the actress demonstrated. Later, ET dug up an early interview the news magazine show did with the actress at the premiere of Starship Troopers, the 1997 film that put her on the map.

Richards explained to the interviewer at the time she’d be appearing next in the film Wild Things but was also unemployed! Of course, what Richards didn’t know for sure at the time was that she’d go on to be working regularly. ET asked what advice she’d give herself back then if she could? “Buckle up, and hang on girl!” Richards responded with a smile.

The actress’s turn as Flo’s (Katrina Bowden) mother has turned into quite a role! The writers tied Shauna to Quinn (Rena Sofer) via a long-running friendship, so now Shauna’s allowing Zoe to think that she is involved with Carter in order to help keep her pal’s explosive affair a secret. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
