Manipulations, love stories, kidnappings, and twisted triangles… They were all part of the fabric of The Bold and the Beautiful over the past year.
Some stories took center stage and were featured prominently for months. Others were fast and furious, beginning and wrapping up quickly.
But which B&B storyline would you rank as the worst of 2016? Fans contemplating their choices, considered Quinn’s capers, Brooke’s love dilemma, Nicole and Zende’s surrogate drama, and more. Here are your results.
Quinn Kidnapping Liam
Of all of Quinn’s antics – and there have been many – 64% of you believe kidnapping Liam (Scott Clifton) and convincing him that they were husband and wife was at the top of her crazy list.
As a result, it was your top choice for worse plot of the year. You found the whole story beyond convoluted and never really understood what was driving Quinn (Rena Sofer). Plus, Liam was way too young for her.

According to 33% of you, Sasha stealing Zende (Rome Flynn) from Nicole was as bad as it gets. First of all, the two girls are sisters and simply shouldn’t be behaving this way. Second of all, it showed how disloyal Zende is.
Nicole barely finished telling him that she’d decided to be a surrogate for Rick and Maya again, than he jumped on a plane with Sasha and hopped into to bed with her. So much for all his talk about being madly in love with Nicole.
Romances Gone Wrong
The final 3% of votes were distributed between a trio of romantic pairings/triangles. A few found the Steffy/Liam break up lame. Others were totally over Brooke’s quandary regarding Bill and Ridge, while some thought Quinn and Eric’s coupling was a major fail.
