Viewers of The Bold and the Beautiful have had to deal with seeing a lot less of Wyatt Spencer lately on their screens but that doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t be able to see more of his portrayer, Darin Brooks, especially since the handsome star has a brand new series about to drop on Apple TV+.
Darin Brooks Takes On New Role
While it was reported a little while ago that Brooks had booked a new series, fans can finally get a look at the exciting family show Amber Brown, aimed at younger viewers, which is written and directed by Emmy-nominated actress Bonnie Hunt.
“👀 SNEAK PEEK is HERE!!! 👀#AmberBrown coming to @appletvplus on July 29th,” shared the excited star. “🙌🙌🎉🎉🔥🔥Thank you [Celebrity Page TV] for such a great promo!! Can’t wait for you all to watch it!! (Also my butt is featured several times!😁) CHECK IT OUT!! 🤗 The promo… not my butt… well, I mean… 😏 never mind… Just GO!!!”
The show focuses on the life of young Amber (newcomer Carsyn Rose), whose parents have gotten divorced. Her mom, played by beloved Grey’s Anatomy alum, Sara Drew, has a new boyfriend Max (Brooks), so of course there will be a lot of adjusting for the young girl.
At about 55 seconds into the promo, the focus turns to this new show, interviewing Hunt, Rose, and Drew about what viewers can expect from the family-friendly show, which is based on the book series of the same name. Amber is finding her voice through art and music as a way to deal with her parents having split up. You can see it for yourself on Apple TV+ when the series premieres on July 29.
