B&B spoilers recently revealed that Eric, played by Daytime Emmy winner John McCook, is ill. However, he’s synonymous with The Bold and the Beautiful. He’s been a staple on the show since its premiere over 36 years ago. He’s beaten every challenge in the past, but his current predicament may be too much even for him.
B&B Spoilers Speculation
B&B viewers have seen other characters on the show pass away. Eric’s (John McCook) first wife Stephanie (Susan Flannery) went to that great soap in the sky in 2012. Saul Feinberg (Michael Fox), Sally Spectra’s (Darlene Conley) right-hand man, died in 1996. It’s unimaginable to think of B&B without Eric. Is he going to beat this illness?
Bold and the Beautiful: In Memoriam
Sure, it’s possible that this is the end of Eric. The hand-shaking, the coughing up blood…it’s just not looking good. It’s true that Eric’s next line may indeed be his last. But perhaps he shouldn’t be counted out just yet.
Eric Forrester: What’s Really Going On?
Of course, there’s likely more to this story than meets the eye. Soap Hub has already speculated that Eric’s being poisoned. If that’s truly the case, then he’ll likely get better once he stops taking the poison. (Ya think?) We don’t know for sure what really may be going on, but we can’t wait to find out.
B&B: Showstopper
Obviously, there’s always the chance that Eric will pass away (as will we all; nobody gets out alive). But it’s tough to believe that this current malady is what’s going to do him in. Eric has a lot more living to do. He’s got a design contest with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) that he needs to win. Eric also needs to reclaim his office and remind everyone that he is Forrester Creations!
B&B Spoilers: Victory Is Mine
Ultimately, it is likely that Eric is going to beat this. It doesn’t matter if he’s being poisoned or if this is some illness that originated from within. Eric has survived much over the years, and this current challenge is just one more battle. It’s a fight that Eric is going to win. Just you watch.
