B&B spoilers recap for Monday, May 23, 2022, features Li Finnegan learning the truth about her son’s shooter all while hiding a colossal secret in her hotel room.
B&B Spoilers Recap Highlights
Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) spent the better part of her morning mourning her husband and preparing to tell his mother everything. When Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) arrived, Steffy told her all she remembered. Finn (Tanner Novlan) died while taking a bullet meant for her. He died a hero.
Li was furious, of course. So much so that she got up to leave so she could process the truth. Steffy stopped her and brought up Finn’s memorial. Would they scatter his ashes? Has Li already done that? Li refused to talk about it.
B&B Recap: A Bombshell Reveal
Steffy was stunned by Li’s rejection, but Taylor assured her grief was a powerful emotion that causes people to act in ways they normally wouldn’t. Don’t worry, Steffy, we’ll figure this out.
As it turns out, Li’s refusal to memorialize her son was for good reason. It’s because Finn is not, in fact, dead. He is, in fact, laying in a hospital bed hooked up to machines in Li’s hotel room. She went to her unconscious son’s side and promised to care for him and get him through this.
The B&B Spoilers Recap: Hot Gossip And Sad Grief
Meanwhile, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) wasn’t awake a whole hour before heading over to see Steffy. He wanted to check on her, he said. As he was leaving, Dollar Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) came in and Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) gave him the rundown of events. Sheila’s a monster, and life will never be the same.
As for Liam, he got to Steffy shortly after Li left and tried to comfort her. Steffy wondered how she was supposed to move on from Finn. They deserved so much more than this.
