B&B spoilers recap for Tuesday, April 26, 2022, features Steffy Forrester Finnegan getting coaxed back to reality in the most gentle but heartbreaking way.
One day of Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) living in the past was all the Logan ladies were willing to allow. This time, it wasn’t just Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) pushing for the truth, it was Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones). And, they all but demanded Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) do it — against his better judgment.
The Forrester men were not having any of that, though. Not only were they adamantly against forcing Steffy into her current reality, but there was also no way they were going to let Liam do it alone if he was going to actually do it. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) insisted he be there as well.
In Steffy’s room, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) relived her showdown with Steffy while toying with the idea of finishing the job. Thankfully, her decision was made for her when Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) interrupted. And, as usual, she misread the situation and thought Sheila was there checking on her daughter, not trying to kill her.
Before they knew it, Steffy was awake and Liam and Ridge came in to start the process of giving Steffy her reality check. The Logans waited outside while everyone else, including Sheila, surrounded Steffy to support her while everything was laid out for her.
The process began slowly with the mention of Finn (Tanner Novlan), showing her their wedding photos, and reminding her about Hayes. Moment by moment, Steffy got flashes to her life with Finn and her memories became flooding back. Yes, she was Mrs. Finnegan and she is a married woman and a mother of two.
However, Steffy had no recollection of Finn dying. She begged to see her husband and son. She cried out for them rendering everyone in the room speechless. They had no choice but to tell her the full truth. Finn was shot in the alley too, and he didn’t make it.
