In the Bold and the Beautiful recap for July 26, 2023, Liam told tales out of school about his love rival.

In addition, Hope (Annika Noelle) filled her parents in on recent doings, and Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) made a beeline for Deacon (Sean Kanan). Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
B&B Recap: Tunnel Vision
At Spencer Publications, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) continued in his efforts to make Liam (Scott Clifton) see reason. Isn’t it possible, highly conceivable even, that Liam is just looking for an excuse to insert himself in Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) life and upend her marriage to Finn (Tanner Novlan), all in an effort to have another shot with her?
Liam was not out to torpedo anyone’s marriage, but Finn did the unthinkable. He HUGGED Sheila. Did Wyatt not see the video that Liam recorded? That is something that he cannot ignore. The stakes are just too darn high — and Finn is no longer trustworthy. Plain and simple.

Opposite this, Steffy was heartened to see that she’d just been disturbed by the sounds of an oncoming storm and not by her murder-minded mother-in-law. But, no sooner had Steff fixed herself a cup of soothing tea than someone came knocking. Luckily it was Liam and not her murder-minded mother-in-law.
Liam announced that he desperately needed to talk to Steffy about Sheila…and Finn. Turns out he witnessed the two *gulp* hugging that day at the courthouse. A distraught Steffy could not deny the charge.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Kiss And Tell
Meanwhile, over at Il Giardino, Trattoria Rustica, Hope sat her parents down and gave them an update: she and Liam are no longer married. What’s more, she’s the one who had the divorce papers drawn up. Deacon and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) were shocked, to say the least.
Mama Bear assured Hope that she still had to fix what was broken and implored her not to give up on her marriage so easily. Deacon offered that Hope had made a mistake with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) but that a mistake doesn’t have to define a person.
Hope granted that she was at fault for kissing Thomas in Rome, but made it clear that she was happy over calling it quits with Liam. Why would she want to be with a man who refused to fight for what they had? Why would she want to be with a man who refused to show her the same grace that she’d afforded him countless times before?
Deacon wondered whether or not this meant that Hope was pressing ahead with Thomas, but Hope wasn’t sure. What she was sure of, however, was that she didn’t want to be with a man with divided loyalties. Liam might love her, but he also loves Steffy, and she’s been in competition with that woman for what feels like forever, and she doesn’t want to live like that anymore.
Deacon understood and wished his daughter well. Brooke lamented because she truly believed that Liam was the love of Hope’s life. Also, she knows, and Hope knows that she did more than kiss Thomas.
B&B Recap: No Rest For The Wicked
Having swung by the restaurant for a nosh and to eavesdrop on the latest hot goss (and boy, did she get an earful, what with all the tea Hope was spilling), Sheila then made her way to Deacon’s abode and arranged a surprise visit. “I’m back, Daddy,” declared the nine-toed fiend.
