The B&B recap for Tuesday, December 6, 2022, features a big-time telling-off, the confirmation of a living nightmare, and a man going from enemy to lover.
B&B Recap Highlights
In this episode, Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) told Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) all about himself — and none of it was particularly pleasant. Elsewhere, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), an offscreen colleague, and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) reached a startling conclusion, and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) informed Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) that since she couldn’t shape up, she had to ship out. Now, let’s take a deeper look into what went on.
Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Like An Open Book
Thomas has some nerve, declared Hope. How could he possibly have the gall to show up to work at the company owned by his family, and that bears his last name?!
Let me explain my actions, begged Thomas, who then proceeded to spin a yarn in which he was a thwarted hero, and everyone around him was actually the villain, especially Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) — she’s just the worst.

Hope, for her part, had an alternate theory: Thomas is a garbage person. Furthermore, he’s a garbage father. In fact, there are days — and probably weeks, months, and maybe even years — when she can’t believe that the man standing before her is actually related to Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri).
Douglas, you see, is brave, compassionate, and not afraid to tell the truth — unlike Thomas, whose first instinct is to lie, no matter what consequences, no matter who’s hurt, no matter the destruction left in his wake.
Oh, and just so there’s no confusion, Hope can never, and will never, love Thomas. She loves her husband, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). Also, Thomas is off the Hope For The Future line. Hope can’t fathom ever working with him again, talented though he may be.
B&B Recap: ToeJam
It’s official-ish. Sheila must be alive and well. The proof, rather than being in the pudding, is in the presumed dead woman’s toe. There’s no way that it was chomped on by a grizzly bear. Clearly, it was surgically removed with the precision of a surgeon…or a pretty damn dedicated nurse. Guess who used to be a nurse. That’s right, Sheila!
This revelation has some pretty terrifying implications, implications that Steffy doesn’t want to face, though she does eventually voice them. Sheila is out there, somewhere in the wild blue yonder, plotting to revenge herself on all those she perceived wronged her.
Have no fear, assured Finn. He’s here to protect his missus and their spawn from his truly diabolical biologic. Speaking of Sheila…
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: On The Prowl
Deacon had a long hard think, and he decided that Sheila, her mask, and her array of wigs should vamoose, skedaddle. They don’t have to go home, but they can’t stay with him a moment longer. Sure, the sex is great, and yes, he did wine and dine and dance with her only a few weeks ago, but it’s his butt that’s really on the line, and Deacon just can’t see another option.
This does not please Sheila. In point of fact, she insinuates that she’s going to make Deacon sorry for forcing her out, and when Sheila makes such an insinuation, you’d better believe that she makes good. Every. Single. Time!
