The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, August 7, 2023, showed Finn finally coming to his senses…after Li laid into him.
Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights
Also in this episode, Liam was all about supporting Steffy, and Brooke tried to talk sense into her daughter. Now, let’s dive deeper into everything that happened.
B&B Recap: Finn’s Big Dilemma
Finn (Tanner Novlan) whined and cried to his mom about Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) packing up and leaving with the kids. Li (Naomi Matsuda) couldn’t blame her. In fact, Li was squarely on Steffy’s side here. Just look how Finn is acting!
Li gave her son a stern talking to about his birth mother. Rescuing Kelly does not erase all the harm she’s caused. Not by a long shot. Finn needs to get that through his head this instant!

Li asked Finn why in the world he would even hug that monster. Finn couldn’t explain it. Nor could he explain why he had sudden feelings for Sheila (Kimberlin Brown). He just…did. It was as confusing to him as anyone else.
Once alone, Finn took stock of the mess he’s made of his life. He relived the moment he found Steffy again after “being dead.” He picked up a picture of their little family. “We lost each other once,” he said. “I’m not going to let that happen again.”
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Liam’s The Man
Meanwhile, Liam (Scott Clifton) circled around Steffy like a vulture. They shared a nice moment with Kelly (Sophia Paras McKinlay), who assured Mommy and Daddy she was okay. Little Kelly then asked her dad if he loved her mom, which he assured her he did.
Once Kelly was out of the room, Steffy told Liam about Finn’s new craze of liking Sheila, how he hailed her as a hero, and how awful it all was. Liam said he was surprised she was strong enough to leave that man. Steffy flat out responded that she didn’t WANT to leave, she HAD To, for the safety of the children.
Liam then did the most Liam thing Liam could do and took her hands and kissed them while gloating about how HE would AWAYS be there for her. Always. What a great guy. Surprisingly he didn’t follow that up with the classic “cha cha cha.”
B&B Recap: Hope For Some Kind Of Future
Over in the design office, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) was proud of her daughter for being the current “it” girl in the fashion world. It’s not every day people accomplish such feats. It’s too bad Hope’s marriage wasn’t as successful, though.
Brooke questioned whether or not Hope really wanted to end her marriage (ignoring the paperwork already being signed and filed). She didn’t want to see her daughter ruin her and her children’s lives. She wanted Hope to fix it instead of jumping ship (or jumping into another man’s bed).
Hope reminded her mom there wasn’t much to fight for. Liam’s heart was never only hers. Steffy was always a factor and always would be. Hope didn’t want to live that life.
