Soap Hub Book Club: ‘Soap Opera 451’

Calling all daytime devotees who possess a voracious appetite for the written word, who love to get lost in a world of make-believe, who appreciate a peak behind the often chaotic scenes, or who just love a darn good read – this announcement is for you!

Soap Hub Book Club: Soap Opera Lovers Rejoice

The month of May marks an exciting new venture for Soap Hub, the launch of our very own book club –we’re calling it the Soap Hub Book Club, naturally – which will count amongst its members our site’s West Coast Editor Michael Maloney, spoiler sensation and video darling Amber Sinclair, and (some may argue overly) opinionated weekend critic Garren Waldo, as well as any number of you who would love to join us on our literary odyssey.

Our inaugural meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, May 31, will find us discussing, dissecting, and no doubt relishing Soap Hub contributor Alina Adams’ interactive eBook Soap Opera 451: A Time Capsule of Daytime Drama’s Greatest Moments both amongst ourselves and with the New York Times Best Selling Authoress herself.

In addition to her time and her memories, Miss Adams has also graciously agreed to provide one lucky reader with a signed copy of her latest tome, a novel titled My Mother’s Secret: A Novel of the Jewish Autonomous Region.

Subsequent book club selections will be made by a “majority rules” system in which you will have the opportunity to vote in a poll (up to five titles varying in genre) that will be included at the end of a monthly wrap-up article.

Until our first meeting, happy reading!
