About The Author

Alina Adams was born in the Soviet Union and immigrated to the U.S. at age 7, where she learned English by watching American soap operas. As creative content producer and director of online serials at Procter & Gamble Productions, she wrote As The World Turns book tie-ins, Oakdale Confidential (New York Times bestseller), and The Man From Oakdale (2010 SCRIBE Award); the Guiding Light tie-in Jonathan’s Story (New York Times bestseller); and pioneered the concept of online continuations of a soap opera with www.AnotherWorldToday.com and Mindy’s Twitter. Other books include figure skating mysteries (Murder on Ice, On Thin Ice, Axel of Evil, Death Drop, Skate Crime) for Berkley Prime Crime publishing; and the Avon and Dell romance novels When a Man Loves a Woman, Annie’s Wild Ride, The Fictitious Marquis, and Thieves at Heart. Adams was a writer for E!’s Pure Soap, and at ABC Television for the transition of the soap opera Loving when it was reincarnated as The City.
