Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas. Find out if any of your favorite performers from yesteryear are returning to the shows you follow, or if any new actors or actresses have been cast in contract, recurring, or day-player roles.

General Hospital

Big returns, recasts and newcomers have boarded General Hospital. Genie Francis is finally back on the canvas as Port Charles mayor, Laura Collins, after a long summer vacation.

Alley Mills has taken over the role of Heather Webber, the character last played by Robin Mattson. Mills is best known to soap opera fans for her portrayal of Pam Douglas on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Jacqueline Grace Lopez is portraying Blaze, Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) new singing partner. Meanwhile, a new tyke has taken over as Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) daughter, Donna Corthintos: child model Scarlett Brielle.

Denise Crosby finished her run as Carolyn Webber, Elizabeth Webber Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) mother on the soap opera.

The Young and the Restless

Keena Ferguson is playing Jean Davis, Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) new therapist on The Young and the Restless. The actress’ credits include the roles of Imani Clarke on Breaking Point (2011 to 2012), Leslie Beckett on Moms (2012 to 2013), and Leslie Davenport on Sistas (2019 to 2020).

Days of our Lives

Mike Manning continues his ghostly run as Charlie Dale on Days of our Lives. Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) late son will continue to appear to his mother this week.

The Bold and the Beautiful

The drama ramping up between his TV parents on The Bold and the Beautiful is good news for fans of Henry Joseph Samiri. The child actor returns to the soap opera as Douglas Forrester, Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) and Hope Logan Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) son, on Friday, November 11.

B&B is one of four soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include Days of our Lives (DOOL), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR). The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
