When Calls the Heart actress Mamie Laverock is on life support after falling five stories from a balcony walkway. The actress’s co-stars are asking for help during this difficult time.

Prayers for Mamie

Laverock’s parents, Rob and Nicole, shared in a GoFundMe post that their daughter, who’d been in a hospital in Winnepeg after suffering a medical emergency, was later transferred to a hospital in Vancouver. There, she fell five stories off a balcony. She is facing a tough recovery. Her parents added that she is “alive and is showing signs of improvement.”

“She sustained life-threatening injuries, has undergone multiple extensive surgeries, and is currently on life support,” Laverock’s parents added. “We are all devastated, in shock, at this intensely difficult time.”

Laverock’s When Calls the Heart costar Erin Krakow has encouraged her followers to donate to the family’s fund to help the family with medical bills. “I just donated. If you have the means to do so, I hope you will too. Link in bio,” shared Krakow.

“I love this family, [and] my heart is broken. A devastating time for all who care for Mamie,” shared Johannah Newmarch, who plays Laverock’s mother Molly Sullivan. “Please help if you can. They need all the support they can get to make it through this.”

Laverock first played Rosaleen Sullivan, a nursing student on the Hallmark series in the program’s first two seasons. In 2015, she received the Young Artists Award for best performance in a TV series. She came back to the show, reprising Rosaleen in 2023.

When Calls the Heart airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel.
