They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but we wonder what good is a picture when you can’t recognize the subject? Above is a snapshot of a future star of soaps, but can you guess who this little darling grew up to be?
Star Of The Soaps
Obviously this young woman (now all grown up) is either currently starring in, or is an alum of, one of the four remaining daytime dramas – The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless – but that’s probably not enough of a hint.
So try these on for size. She is a Salt Lake City native. Prior to becoming an actress, she worked as a model for both print ads and commercials. Her acting debut took place on a daytime soap opera. And she is a musician/singer who has released her own EP.
But just who can she be? Is this a photograph of Kiara Barnes (Zoe Buckingham, BB), Sal Stowers (Lani Price, DAYS), Briana Nicole Henry (Jordan Ashford, GH), or Brytni Sarpy (Elena Dawson, YR)?
Sal Stowers
Through her association with Photogenics Model Management, Stowers appeared in commercials for establishments such as Wendy’s, and she was featured in fashion spreads in magazines like InTouch Weekly, Seventeen, and Florida International Magazine. However, Stowers is a California girl and her acting debut came courtesy of dramedy Ugly Betty. So she isn’t today’s featured star.
Briana Nicole Henry
Henry has appeared in two daytime soaps – GH and The Young and the Restless (where she played Esmeralda) – but her very first professional acting job was the romantic dramedy At Middleton. This, coupled with the fact that she hails from Savannah, Georgia proves that she isn’t the answer to today’s identity query.
Brytni Sarpy
And neither is Sarpy. This in spite of the fact that she has appeared in commercials and print work for entities such as Niki, Yahoo!, AT&T, and New Balance. However, her first on-camera acting job was an episode of My Crazy Ex and she hasn’t released an EP full of original music.
Kiara Barnes
Prior to joining the cast of BB (which marked her acting debut), Barnes had made the trek from Utah to New York where she had launched a successful modeling career which included print ads for brands such as Maybelline and Sephora as well as roles in television commercials. In 2018, she released an EP titled Sirens to the Moon which featured a number of original songs including Secret Garden and Girl at the Party.
So, if you guessed that the future star of soaps seen in the image above was Kiara Barnes, then you were absolutely correct!
