They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but we wonder what good is a picture when you can’t recognize the subject? Above is a snapshot of a future star of soaps, but can you guess who this suited up little cutie grew up to be?

Star Of The Soaps

Obviously this young man (now all grown up) is either currently starring in, or is an alum of, one of the four remaining daytime dramas – The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless – but that’s probably not enough of a hint.

So try these on for size. His first professional credit was on the TV series Medium. He appeared in a number of nationally aired commercials. He had a recurring role on 90210. He appeared in a music video featuring singer Shannon K. He is a Daytime Emmy Award winner. And he is both a published author and a podcaster.

But just who can he be? Is this a photograph of Adam Gregory (ex-Thomas Forrester, BB), Freddie Smith (Sonny Kiriakis, DAYS), Bradford Anderson (Spinelli, GH), or Max Ehrich (ex-Fenmore Baldwin, YR)?

Adam Gregory

Gregory played Ty Collins on 90210 and he appeared in a music video for the single It’s Alright. It’s Okay. However, the artist was Ashley Tisdale, not Shannon K., and Gregory’s first acting credit is an episode of the Nickelodeon sitcom Just Jordan.

Bradford Anderson

Anderson has appeared in commercials for Jose Cuervo and Dunkin’ Donuts and he shares podcast hosting duties with fellow GHer Steve Burton (Jason Morgan). However, Anderson never appeared in an episode of 90210, so he’s automatically out of the running as a possible answer to today’s identity query.

Max Ehrich

Ehrich joined singer Rebecca Black in a music video for the much-covered Baby It’s Cold Outside, but he hasn’t yet collaborated with Shannon K. And though he’s appeared in a plethora of primetime programs, 90210 wasn’t among them. So Ehrich isn’t today’s featured star.

Freddie Smith

He’s starred in commercials for Taco Bell, JC Penney, and Samsung, and his career was launched with a guest spot on Medium, but Smith is best known for his work as DAYS’ Sonny. Aside from his acting, Smith is the co-host of The Freddie & Alyssa Show, and it is Alyssa that he shares credit with on the cover of their book The Pivot Principle.

So, if you guessed that the future star of soaps seen in the image above was Freddie Smith – who won the 2015 Outstanding Younger Actor award at the Daytime Emmys – then you were absolutely correct!
