They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but we wonder what good is a picture when you can’t recognize the subject? Above is a snapshot of a future star of soaps, but can you guess who this football-loving little drummer grew up to be?
Star Of The Soaps
Obviously this young man (now all grown up) is either currently starring in, or is an alum of, one of the four remaining daytime dramas – The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless – but that’s probably not enough of a hint.
So try these on for size. He is a Louisiana native. He is a former model and commercial actor. His first professional acting credit is a daytime drama. He is a soap hopper. And he is a singer with an album full of country music released.
But just who can be? Is this a photograph of Winsor Harmon (ex-Thorne Forrester, BB), Eric Martsolf (Brady Black, DAYS), Ingo Rademacher (Jasper Jax, GH), or Billy Miller (ex-Billy Abbott, YR)?
Eric Martsolf
Martsolf has modeled for over 50 designers, companies, and business, he has appeared in two daytime serials (Passions and DAYS), and he is a talented singer with one self-titled CD to his discography. However, he was born and raised in Pennsylvania and the first two credits on his resume are The Cheater (a short film) and Spanish Fly (a feature-length dramedy).
Ingo Rademacher
Rademacher dropped out of college in order to pursue the life of a model, and that quickly led to him branching out into the acting field. His first role was surfer Sean Hayden in the Australian soap opera Paradise Beach and he eventually racked up credits on GH and BB (ex-Thorne Forrester). But Rademacher isn’t a singer, and he spent the majority of his adolescence living in The Land Down Under so he isn’t today’s featured star.
Billy Miller
After graduating from the University of Texas, Miller landed a contract with the Wilhelmina modeling agency which saw to it that he was employed in a number of successful ad campaigns and commercials for businesses such as JC Penney and Pizza Hut. He eventually turned his hand to professional acting and landed roles in series such as All My Children, YR, GH, Ringer, and CSI: NY. But he isn’t the answer to today’s identity query.
Winsor Harmon
Harmon dropped out of Texas A&M in order to accept a modeling contract that assured him international exposure. Roles in numerous commercials followed as did his first TV series credit: Del Henry on AMC. He eventually guest-starred on a number of primetime programs before accepting the offer to take over the role of BB’s Thorne Forrester.
So, if you guessed that the future star of soaps seen in the image above was Winsor Harmon – who released an album full of country music titled Stars of Texas – then you were absolutely correct!
