They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but we wonder what good is a picture when you can’t recognize the subject? Above is snapshot of a future star of soaps, but can you guess who this enthusiastic little hugger grew up to be?

Star Of The Soaps

Obviously this young man (now all grown up) is either currently starring in, or is an alum of, one of the four remaining daytime dramas – The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless – but that’s probably not enough of a hint.

So try these on for size. He trained as a dancer (in multiple genres). He began acting professionally at the age of 11 thanks to a feature film starring Bryan Brown and Brian Dennehy. His career was jump-started thanks to a starring part in Canada’s answer to Dawson’s Creek. He’s had recurring roles on The L Word and he is well known to fans of sci-fi and supernatural series.

But just who can he be? Is this a photograph of Drew Tyler Bell (ex-Thomas Forrester, BB), Lucas Adams (ex-Tripp Dalton, DAYS), Dominic Zamprogna (ex-Dante Falconeri, General Hospital) or Daniel Goddard (ex-Cane Ashby, YR)?

Drew Tyler Bell

Bell had extensive dance training and he is still a proficient ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and tap performer. However, he was 15 when he made his acting debut in the film Without Charlie – and said film did not star either Bryan Brown or Brian Dennehy. So he isn’t today’s featured star.

Lucas Adams

Though he has appeared in a few series with supernatural leanings – like True Blood and Grimm, Adams didn’t train to be a dancer and he didn’t appear in his first feature film until he was 20 – some two years after he began his acting career. So he isn’t the answer to today’s identity query.

Daniel Goddard

And neither is Goddard. His first feature film role was 2003’s Dram Warrior (which featured neither of the above-mentioned actors) and he gained recognition for his starring turn as the titular BeastMaster, not a character in a teen dramedy.

Dominic Zamprogna

As the offspring of two dance instructors, it was only natural that Zamprogna would learn the art of dancing. But rather than pursue that avenue as a professional career, he chose to become an actor.

His very first credit in the 1991 action thriller film F/X2 – a sequel to Brown and Dennehy’s hit 1985 picture. Zamprogna subsequently found a fan following thanks to his starring role in the Canadian series Edgemont. Recurring roles on The L Word and Battlestar Galactica followed as did parts in shows such as Are You Afraid of the Dark?, PSI Factor, and Supernatural.

So, if you guessed that the future star of soaps seen in the image above was Dominic Zamprogna – who last appeared on General Hospital on March 29, 2019 – then you were absolutely correct!
